Prices vary from job to job, depending mostly on the old supply / demand economics we learned freshman year in high school. For example, a Wednesday afternoon headshot session in my studio will be cheaper than a Saturday night engagement session, because there are fewer people requesting my time on a Wednesday afternoon then there are on a Saturday night. The same goes for if you want a headshot session over the weekend versus a weekday. That's in most cases, not all cases, so don't shy away just because you can only shoot on a weekend.
At the end of the day, if you are flexible, I will work with your budget to find a middle ground that works best for both of us. Sometimes I can move stuff around and not impact other shoots, the more flexible you are the more inexpensive it can be.
